Obituary of John F. Biddle

John F. Biddle, of Paramus formerly of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the age of 82. John began his career as an Air Traffic Controller at Teterboro Airport and worked at all the major NY hubs. He learned his skills of ATC while serving in the US Navy while stationed at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. He enjoyed a 35 year run which ended when he retired as the Air Traffic Manager of Newark Liberty International Airport in 1995. He was a member of the Bergen County Players in Oradell, a former Boy Scout Leader of Troop #11 in Hackensack and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved husband to the late Joyce A. (nee Wagstaff) who passed away in 2019. Loving father of Gregory Biddle and his wife Shivaun of Montvale and Leslie Biddle of Hoboken. Cherished grandfather of Sara and Aidan Biddle. Dearest brother Helen Collard of Concord, CA and Judy Stigall and her husband Dan of Fenton, MO. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 – 9:00 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ.
