Obituary of Deborah A. Tilstra

Deborah A. Tilstra (nee Weiss) of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday March 17, 2022, at the age of 66 years. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Craig R. Tilstra (2018). Devoted mother of Philip G. Tilstra of South Hackensack and Daniel A. Tilstra Sr. and his wife Susie of South Hackensack. Cherished grandmother of Daniel A. Tilstra Jr. Dearest sister of James Weiss and his wife Sophia of Saddle Brook. Devoted daughter of the late George and Phyllis Weiss. Deborah is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will begin on Wednesday March 23, 2022, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street , Hackensack , NJ . The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue , Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery , Hackensack . The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
