Sharon L. Lewis (nee Carr), of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the age of 72. Prior to retiring she had worked for the Hackensack Middle School Board of Education as a Para Professional, teaching special education for many years. She was a member of the NJEA and a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Episcopal Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of Young Grover Lewis for 49 years. Cherished mother of Randy Lewis and Young Lewis and his partner Ryan Smith. Devoted daughter to the late Bertram and Evelyn Carr. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Friday April 8, at 9:45 AM. The Mass of Requiem will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Episcopal Church, 72 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation.
