Obituary of Mary Lee Redmond

Mary Lee Redmond (nee Kelahan) of Teaneck, formerly of Syracuse, New York, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at the age of 64 years. Prior to retiring Lee had worked as a teacher for Holy Trinity School in Hackensack for 10 years, prior she taught at St. Augustine's School in Union City for 8 years, and prior she was a Compliance Officer for Prudential-Bache Securities in Manhattan, NY. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack, NJ. Beloved wife of 30 years to John P. Redmond. Cherished mother of SSG. Gabriel P. Redmond of Texas and Morgan J. Redmond of Teaneck. Devoted daughter of the late John A. and C. Joanne Kelahan. Devoted sister of John Kelahan (Rosalind), Laura Kelahan, Patrick Kelahan (Chris), Matthew Kelahan (Renee, dec.), Brian Kelahan (Colleen Connor), Daniel Kelahan (Cheryl), Philip Kelahan (Molly), Gregory Kelahan (Linda), Julia Kelahan (Tim Kilroy), and the late Andrew Kelahan (Sara). Lee is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral will begin on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 8:45 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM for visitation at the Funeral Home.
