Obituary of Aminta A. Rowlands

Aminta A. Rowlands (nee Jordano) of Wayne formerly of Hackensack, and Sarasota, passed away peacefully, on Sunday May 1, 2022, at the age of 80 years. Prior to her retiring Aminta worked as a caregiver for Comfort Keepers in Sarasota, FL she was also an active member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary, she enjoyed traveling and gardening and especially cooking for her children and grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late William Rowlands (1988). Devoted mother of Richard Jennings and his wife Patricia, Dennis Jennings, Kimberly Keogh and her husband Stephen and Allison Faraldi. Cherished grandmother of Alexis and her husband Jerry, Austin and his wife Arielle, Stephen, Joseph, Victoria, Nicklas, and Sofia, great grandmother to Ava, Maddison, Kai, Olivia and Kaden. Dearest sister of Arlene Garris, Margaret O'Keeffe and her husband Ric, and the late Robert Jordano and Emmanuel Jordano. Aminta is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Funeral will begin on Friday May 6, 2022, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack.
