Obituary of Gerard M. Toriello Sr.

Gerard M. Toriello Sr., of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the age of 79. Prior to retiring he owned and operated Investigative Research in Clifton for many years. Gerard also worked as a Private Detective throughout the years. During the late 1950's he performed with the Royal Teens Band, and he was a member of the American Polygraph Association and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Loving father of Dawn M. Toriello and her partner David Sperling, Gerard M. Toriello Jr. and Carolyn Segreto. Cherished grandfather of Kyle Sliker, Shannon Spiecker, Luke Segreto and Paul Segreto, great grandfather of Jasper Sliker. Dearest brother of Geraldine R. Toriello and the late Phyllis Russo. The Funeral will begin on Tuesday June 7, 2022, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
