Obituary of Teresa Savino

Teresa M. Savino (nee Martino), 80, of South Hackensack, NJ, tragically passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. She was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved wife of Cono V. Savino for 45 loving years. Loving mother of Anthony C. Savino and his wife Christie of Maryland and Josephine Savino of South Hackensack. Cherished grandmother of Vincent S. Savino and Jordyn White. Dearest sister of Rosa Martorana and her late husband Gaetano of Bagheria Sicily, Maria Lanuto and her late husband Gaetano of South Hackensack, and her late Brothers Vincenzo Martino and his wife Concetta of Hackensack and Giulio Martino and his wife Maria Raia Martino of Ramsey, sister-in-law to Paolo Savino and his wife Immacolata and Vincenzo and his wife Pina of Teggiano, Italy. Teresa is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many loving friends from Italy, New Jersey and Arizona. The Funeral will begin on Friday, June 17, at 9:30 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 11:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, with entombment following at Fairview Mausoleum, 22 Bergenwood Road, Fairview, NJ. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
