Obituary of Robert K. Abrahamsen

Robert K. Abrahamsen, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the age of 68 years. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1972 to 1974, prior to retiring in 2017 he worked for the Bergen County Police Department for over 36 years attaining the rank of Supervisory Sergeant, he was a member of PBA Local #49 of Bergen County and a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church in Hackensack. Bob especially enjoyed listening to Rock & Roll Music of the 1970"s, and cooking special morning breakfast's for his family, he was a devoted family man who adored his family, more than words could ever express, his devotion for his wife and children was second to none. Beloved husband for 30 years to Maria M. (nee Morales). Loving father of Matthew, Andrew and Sarah Lourdes Abrahamsen. Devoted son to the late Martin and Florence Abrahamsen. The Funeral will begin on Friday, July 8, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, Cremation will be private. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home. In Lieu of Flowers please make a donation in Bob's memory to: St. Francis R.C.
