Obituary of Arthur DeBlasio

Arthur Victor DeBlasio, of Little Ferry, died at his home on Friday, July 15, 2022 at the age of 73 years. Prior to retiring Arthur spent his entire career teaching for the Hackensack School District. He was a very active member with the Second Reformed Church in Hackensack and a dedicated volunteer at Holy Name Hospital for many years. Dearest brother of Alice Hein (Michael - deceased) of Surf City NJ. Arthur is pre-deceased by his parents Louise and Victor DeBlasio and loving grandmother Elsie Lamker of Little Ferry. Arthur was also a vital and ever present part of the lives of his Aunt Kay and Uncle Harold Ott (deceased), of Waldwick, NJ, of his cousin, David Ott, of Waldwick, of Carolyn Sloane (Eric), of Pennsylvania, and of their children, Kristin Hilts (Brian), of Utah, and Geoffrey Sloane (Nicole) of New Hampshire. We laughed together, sang together, vacationed together, and celebrated every special occasion together, from holidays to birthdays to weddings to even ordinary things. His presence, his generosity, and his quick wit will be sorely missed. A prayer service will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022, at 4:00: PM, at G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ.
