Obituary of Gloria Ann Palazzi

Gloria Ann Palazzi, (nee Prince), of South Hackensack , passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the age of 87. Gloria graduated from Dickinson High School in Jersey City , NJ . She retired as the managing partner of Sign Corporation of America , located in Hackensack , NJ . Prior to that, she worked for Bendix Corporation in Teterboro , NJ . Gloria served as Past-president of South Hackensack Ambulance Corp Ladies Auxiliary; Past-president of South Hackensack Hose Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary; Past-president and active member of the South Hackensack Senior Citizens Club; and an active parishioner of the Church of Immaculate Conception in Hackensack, NJ, where she served as a lecture. Devoted mother of Robert A. Palazzi and his wife Elise of Elmer, NJ; Kelly G. Palazzi and her husband Gregory Hoffmann of South Hackensack , NJ ; and Karla A. Venitelli and her husband David of Westwood, NJ. Loving Grandmother of John III, Brianna, Alicia, Trevor, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Kristy, and Ian. Great-Grandmother of R.J. She is survived by her sister, Janice Garcia, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Armand R. Palazzi, and their daughter, Kelly Ann. The Funeral will begin on Thursday, September 8, at 9:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street , Hackensack . The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 49 Vreeland Ave. , Hackensack , with a private final disposition. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
