Obituary of Ann M. Murphy

Ann Maria Murphy, of Hackensack, NJ, passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 78. Ann was born in the United Kingdom, to the late James and Bridget Murphy in 1944. She graduated from Hackensack High School in 1962. She retired from Saddle Brook Family Dentistry as a dental assistant in 2012. Prior to that, she served roles at Scholastic Inc., and UJA Federation. Ann lived her life with compassion, enjoying traveling and spending time and celebrating with friends and family, and had a love for pets (Margie). Devoted Sister of James Murphy and wife Grayce, of Saddle Brook. Loving Aunt of Bridget Murphy-Unis and husband John Kaminski, of Saddle Brook, and Jessica Waller and husband Craig, of Fair Lawn, and Great Aunt of Colin, Samantha, and Boe. She is survived by her cousins and her dearest friends, who were more like family. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass that will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15, at 11:00 AM, at Immaculate Conception Church, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Ann's memory to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Shelter.
