Obituary of Margaret E. Koestner

Margaret "Peggy" E. Koestner (nee Bond), of Ridgewood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her four children, on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the age of 95. Prior to retiring in 2002, she was an office manager for F. W. Koestner Associates in Hackensack for 25 years. Peggy was a member of the Garden Club of Paramus, a former Girl Scout Troop Leader and she was a member of the Republican County Committee organization. Beloved wife for 63 years to the late F. William Koestner Jr. (2015). Devoted mother of Steven Koestner of Mahwah, Carol Brown and her husband Danny Blanchflower of Burlington, Vermont, Diane Dolliver and her husband Rick of Charlotte, Vermont and Marjorie Koestner and her partner Ray Moraski of Ridgewood. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Bethany, Grace, Mary Lou, Rebecca, Cameron, Harrison, Meghan, Will, William, Diane and Christopher. Adored great grandmother of Sam, Eloise, Magnolia, Caleb, Owen, Roland, Guinevere, Joshua, Belle, Henry, Clare and Marvin. Dearest sister of the late E. Herbert Bond. She also leaves behind he special caregivers Florette, Jennifer and Marva. The funeral service will begin on Friday, November 4th, 10:00 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus.
