Obituary of Ingrid K Ossi

Ingrid K. Ossi (Falkner), 83 of Groveland, Florida (formerly of Garfield, NJ) passed away peacefully on December 24, 2022. Ingrid was born on January 21, 1939 in Nurnberg, Germany to Johann and Marga Falkner. When she was 18, she met an American named Marco who was serving in the United States Army and immediately fell in love. Together, Ingrid and Marco left Germany and arrived in the United States in 1957, where they later got married and started their lives together, raising two wonderful children. Ingrid was very proud to be German, who always reminisced of her days growing up in Germany with her family. Although Ingrid's heart always lied in Germany, she loved the United States and every opportunity this country gave her. She enjoyed sipping on her German beer and wine, going to Oktoberfest, spending time with her family and raising her three grandchildren, who were her world. Ingrid loved shopping and traveling, especially back and forth from New Jersey to Florida. Ingrid loved dancing to German music and Rod Stewart, swimming in her pool and being with the people she loved. She is pre-deceased by her father and mother, Johann and Marga Falkner, sister Karin Schuster of Germany and beloved husband of 58 years, Marco Ossi. Loving mother of her daughter Karin and son-in-law Armen of Hackensack, NJ, and her son John and daughter-in-law Celena of Groveland, Florida. Cherished Oma of granddaughter Carina and husband Jonathan, grandson Alec and granddaughter Marisa. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends whom she loved dearly.
