Gloria J. Calandrillo (nee Penque), 82, of Saddle Brook, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Gloria loved to cook for her family and friends. She was especially talented decorating her home for all of the holidays, knitting, sewing and always had a craft in progress. She will be truly missed. She was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle Church, Saddle Brook. Beloved wife of John G. Calandrillo for 63 years. Cherished mother of John Calandrillo and wife Linda of Whiting, NJ, Kim Meyer and husband Fred of Fairlawn, NJ and Todd Calandrillo and wife Rute of Saddle Brook, NJ. Loving grandmother of Matthew and wife Justine, Alexa and fiancé Joel, Thiago, Priscilla and the late Christopher. Dear sister of the late Adeline Deo (Joseph), Angelo "Sonny" Penque (Millie), Mary Gentempo (Joseph), Arline Risky (Edward), Ann Marie Dante, Emil and dear sister in law of the late Robert Cicchetti. She is survived by her brother in laws Anthony Calandrillo, George Dante and sister in law Anna Cicchetti. Loving aunt of Marie Gentempo, Rosemary Megariotis, Scott Penque, Victoria Park ( William), George Dante (Heidi), David Penque (Patricia), Joanne McKnight and the late Robert Cicchetti, as well as many great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 23, 2023, 10:00am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, River Street, Hackensack. The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, 4-8 for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gloria's memory to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
