Obituary of Josephine Marshall

Josephine Marshall (nee Unger) of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the age of 85. Prior to retiring Josephine worked as an Office Manager for Schottenstein Stores Corp. She was a member of the South Hackensack Senior's Group, a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #809 of Little Ferry and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife to the late William J. Marshall II (2002). Loving mother of Patricia Weidner and her fiancé Butch of Little Ferry, William Marshall III of South Hackensack, Michael Marshall of South Hackensack, Kathleen Franklin and her husband William of Saylorsburg, PA, Thomas Marshall and his fiancé Ann of Little Ferry, Colleen Emery and her husband Todd of Teaneck, Arlene Richter and her husband Ernest of Greenwood Lake, NY and the late Daniel Marshall (2020) and his widow Christine of Hackensack. Cherished grandmother of Joseph and John Weidner, William Marshall IV, Daniel II and Emily Marshall, William, Ashley and Kaitlyn Franklin, Jason, Steven and Erin Emery and Kyle Richter. The Funeral will begin on Thursday March 16, 2023, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM for visitation.
