Obituary of Susan I. Nativo

Susan I. Nativo (nee Mayo) of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at the age of 97. Susan was born in Hackensack, NJ on August 14, 1925 to Libero and Rosina Mayo. She owned and operated Suzy's Beauty Salon in Hackensack for many years and she was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church, in Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late Paul Nativo. Susan is survived by her sister, Gloria Brkal as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 5 sisters and 3 brothers Florence Frapaul, Josephine Di Stasi, Mary Guinta, Angelina Di Napoli, Anthony Mayo, John Mayo, Frank Mayo and Rose Minnella. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Saturday, April 15, at 8:30 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 9:30 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi St, Hackensack, with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Friday, April 14, 2023, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM for visitation at the Funeral Home.
