Obituary of Alida Vilma Vega Vega

Alida Vilma Vega Vega, known by friends and family as Lila, was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. She loved and cared ferociously. No sacrifice was too big, especially for those she loved most. She spread her spiritual wings and left this world on Mother's Day May 14, 2023, at the age of 57. She was born on September 27, 1965, in Lima Peru. When she was 21, she embarked on a journey that would change her life completely. In February of 1987 she came to the United States and began the adventure of a lifetime. A trailblazer in her own way, she embraced the entrepreneurial lifestyle, taking pride in being her own boss. A little over 10 years later, her life once again changed course as she became mother to her daughters Valeria and Nataly. Lila was an exceptional and loving mother, dedicated wholeheartedly to raising and nurturing her beautiful daughters into exceptional young ladies. She touched the lives of all those she came in contact with, showing us that during difficult times, what matters most is to have courage and strength to keep moving forward. When one door closes, another one opens. She was a pioneer in our family, accomplishing extraordinary feats, paving the way for the next generation of Vega Vegas. She had a vibrant personality, a contagious laughter that would light up any room, and will continue to be an unstoppable force in Heaven as she was here on Earth. She is her own universe. Lila will be honored and celebrated on Sunday May 21, from 6pm to 8pm at Gentile Funeral
