Edith "Debra" Wellington also known as "Babba" was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on September 12, 2023 at the age of 57. She was born in Trinidad and migrated to the United States in her early 30's. She leaves her three daughters, Melissa Wellington, Sade'-adu Phillips and Sadia-adu Phillips, four grandsons, Ondre Wellington, Preston Phillips, Prescott Phillips and Pierson Phillips sisters Gail Mitchell Henry, Ann Horsford and Evelyn Joyce Huggins, Cossil Horsford, brother Coswil Horsford and many close friends and family. She loved Jehovah, cooking delicious meals, enjoyed playing cards, music, telling funny stories and helping anyone in anyway possible. A funeral service is scheduled for 4pm on September 15th, 2023 at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601.
