Donna M. Fama (nee Dapice), of Little Ferry, formerly of Hackensack, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the age of 66 surrounded by family. Beloved daughter of the late Matthew and Marie Dapice. Cherished mother of Laura Colonnelli and her husband Vincent of Hawthorne, NJ, and Sara Carlson of Greensboro, NC. Loving grandmother (Mimi) of Emily Grace. Beloved fiancé of Michael D'Arminio. Prior to retiring she worked as a bookkeeper for Results Advertising, in Hasbrouck Heights for many years, though her most cherished role in life was caretaker. She cared deeply for those around her and is survived by all who were touched by her generosity and love. Her happiest moments were when she was with her family and friends cooking, throwing a barbecue, shopping with her best shopping buddies Katie and Debbie, or soaking in the sun and the ocean breeze. She loved the shore house and ensured that everyone was welcomed. Donna will never be forgotten as her spirit lives on in the hearts of her loved ones, but most especially in the memories shared with her beloved Emily Grace. The Funeral will begin from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, on Tuesday, October 24, at 8:45 AM. The Mass of Requiem will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Episcopal Church, 72 Lodi Street, Hackensack at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 – 4 & 7 - 9 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
