I was the daughter Rene didn't have. I would call her Nae Nae because when I was a baby I couldn't pronounce Rene. Nae Nae was family to the Cohen's. Nae Nae was everything to me. She was my best friend. She was the mom I didn't have for 8 years growing up. She was the person I went to when I struggled. She was the person I loved the most in my life, and I don't think I'll ever love anyone more. I am distraught at the loss, but I am happy she is at peace in heaven. I love you Nae Nae, rest well. Rene and I would talk nonstop in the salon. We shared stories of our common groud, New Jersey . We were Italian "sisters". We laughed, rejoiced and comforted each other. We exchanged ideas, asked questions, gave opinions, protected women's rights, all during appointments. Rene will now have peace and no more pain. Rest my Friend. Mary

Dear Rose Marie- My wife and I would like to offer our deepest condolences to you and your family. I realize years have separated our knowing each other more fully but I do indeed remember you from our school days. It is very difficult losing a child no matter what the age. We lost a son in 2007 and it was rough going. Please know that you and your family will be in our prayers for your daughter. God bless and may His light shine upon you.
