Edward J. Barbato, of Hackensack passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the age of 67 years. Prior to retiring in 2022, he worked as a machinist for Precision Metal in Little Falls for many years. Edward was an avid fan of the New York Giants and the New Jersey Devil's. Dearest brother of Kenneth E. Barbato of Hackensack. Loving uncle to Brent Barbato and his wife Julie, and great uncle to Emily, Blake and Bianca. The Funeral Service will begin on Friday, January 5, 12 Noon at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus. The family will receive friends on Friday morning from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon for visitation.
