Obituary of Sam S. Minnella

Sam S. Minnella Jr. "Sal", 66 of Hackensack, passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Prior to retiring in 2019, Sal worked in the Maintenance department for the DPW in the City of Hackensack, for many years. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack. Beloved husband of 35 years to Elizabeth M. (nee Kuver). Devoted father of Sam Minnella and his wife Kelly and Thomas Minnella and his girlfriend Kimberly. Cherished grandfather to Charlotte Minnella. Adored nephew to Lorraine Armani. Sal also leaves behind his four legged son Fred, he will truly be missed by all. The Funeral will begin on Thursday, February 1, at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave. Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation.
