Obituary of Jack P. Ingoglia

Jack P. Ingoglia, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the age of 95 years. Prior to retiring in 1992, Jack worked for many years at the Hackensack Public School System as a Supply Supervisor and he proudly served in the United States Army in the 334th Ordnance Depot Company during the Korean Conflict. He received the Army of Occupation of Germany Medal after his service. Jack enjoyed many wonderful vacations and small trips with his family. Jack was an avid sports fan who shared his passion with his grandsons. Jack was especially enthusiastic about bowling and collegiate football and basketball, where he was often consulted for tips during March Madness. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R.C. Church in Hackensack, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society, a member of the St. Francis Socialites, and a member of their Usher's Society. He was, also, a member of the American Legion – Veterans of Foreign War – South Hackensack Post 8005. Beloved husband of the late Rose Ingoglia (nee De Riso) (2014) for over 61 years. Loving father of Dr. Robert Thomas Ingoglia and his wife Mary Ann of Hasbrouck Heights, and Elizabeth Anne Mliczek of Nutley. Cherished grandfather of Ryan Michael (Nancy) and Stephen Kyle (Monika) and adored great grandfather of Felicity Sofia. Dearest brother of the late William Ingoglia and Jenny D'Arminio. Jack is also survived by several loving and caring nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The Funeral on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 8:45 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at St. Francis R.C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hackensack. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation.
