Obituary of Maria Torres

MARIA SANTOS TORRES, of Maywood, died on Monday, January 5, 2009, at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, at the age of 82 years. She was born in Bigaa, Bulacan, Philippines and was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church of Maywood. Predeceased by her husband Geronimo Torres, she is survived by her son Noel Torres and his wife Miriam of West Hills, California and two daughters Maria Torres-Iyoy and her husband Crasus of Maywood, and Marites Ignacio and her husband Giovanni of Houston, Texas, her grandchildren, Giancarlo, Gabrielle, Sinead, and Nicklaus, and her sister, Patricio Santos of the Philippines. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 8th, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 9:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 7 - 9 PM.
