I was priviliged to have Linda (aka: Mrs. Garafolo) as my 4th grade teacher at Broadway school. I have known her husband Sal since I was a toddler. There are too many things to put down as memories so I hold them deep in my heart. Rest in Peace Linda and Jesus I pray you hold Sal in your arms to comfort him. Mrs. Garafalo was the nicest, kindest person you would ever want to meet. She has treated our family as her own. We will always remember her delicious food, (pistachio cake) other cakes, cookies and on and on We could not wait for her delicious chicken, potatoes and corned beef. When you went to her house, you were family and we never felt out of place. We can go on and on, about how wonderful she was, as well as Sal. You can't meet better people and entire family. She will truly be missed.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Lynn. Growing up, she was one of the best neighbors you could ask for. I grew up playing with Diana, and sometimes if they had time for us Debbie and Michelle, since they were older,. I remember many meals at the Garafalo household sleepovers, and shopping trips, the Garofalo family was one of the best families that I have a memory of and loved being part of some of their family gatherings as well as helping out on the 7-Up truck with Diana and her dad at the church festival. My deepest condolences, go out to the entire family as I’m sure there is a void, so big in all of their hearts.
