Ded Pjeternikaj, of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 97 years. Beloved Husband to the late Drane Pjeternikaj (nee Perpepaj) 2007. Loving father of John Pjeternikaj and his wife Dila of Saddle River, Nik Pjeternikaj & Kathrine of New York City and the late George Pjeternikaj (2006). Cherished grandfather of Mark and John Pjeternikaj and the late Michael Pjeternikaj (2006), great grandfather of six. Ded is also survived by two brothers and one sister. The Funeral will begin on Thursday, April 18, at 8:30 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Shkodra Albanian Church, 361 W. Hartsdale Ave, Hartsdale, New York 10530, with burial following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, NY. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the G.
