William R. Pohts Jr., of Maywood, "originally Monongahela, PA", passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at the age of 75 years. Prior to retiring he worked as a Computer Analyst for Disney ABC in NY, NY for many years. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Beloved husband to Teresa A. (nee Bonetti) for 46 years. Loving father to Christopher Brian (Pohts) and his wife Caren of Hewitt, NJ, John William (Pohts) of Maywood, NJ, Brittany Danielle Cain (née Pohts) and her husband Jason of Monongahela, PA and Jared Michael Pohts of Maywood, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Eleanore Reagan Cain of Monongahela, PA. Dearest brother of Peggy Ann Penwarden of Punta Gorda FL. William is also survived by his niece: Jamie Lynn Morero of Longwood FL. A Prayer Service will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, with entombment following at East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton.
