Domenico Villari of Little Ferry, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2024 at the age of 81 years. He was the devoted son of the late Giuseppe and Francesca Villari. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee) Francica. Loving father of Joseph Villari and his wife Farah of Rivervale, Frances Soares, and her husband, Marco of Monroe Township and Angela Duarte and her husband Luis of Monroe Township. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Leila, Isabela, Ava, Manny, Dominick, and Christiano. Dearest brother to Lina Leuzzi, Antonio Villari, Rosetta Lagana and the late Rosario Villari and Franco Villari. Dominick was a true family man. He was a gentle soul and kind man full of love and compassion. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and brother-in-law and friend to all. To know him was to love him. He brought laughter and joy to all around him. Dominick loved gardening, watching soccer and playing cards with family and friends. His love for animals was unmatched. His unwavering love was for his family and especially his grandchildren, who he said mirrored his own children and reminded him of when they were young. His love and compassion will be forever cherished. A beautiful life that came to an end, he died as he lived, everyone's friend. In our hearts a memory will always be kept of one we loved, and will never forget. The Funeral will begin on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 8:30 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret of Cortona, 31 Chamberlain Avenue, Little Ferry, NJ, begins at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Twp. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the funeral home.
