Mary Beth "Beth" Savage, 84, of Maywood, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024, at home while surrounded by family. Beth was born on May 2, 1940, in Jersey City, NJ, daughter of Joseph and Florence (Kelty) Micucci. She attended elementary school at Our Lady of Victories, in Jersey City where she met her future husband John (Jack) Savage. After attending high school at St. Aloysius Academy, Beth went to St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse upon graduation in 1961. On September 11, 1965, she married Jack, and lived initially in Jersey City before they moved to and made their home in Maywood in 1968. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. Beth loved watching baseball and was happiest when the Yankees and Mets were having good seasons.

Beth is survived by her loving husband Jack, devoted children Michael Savage and his wife Lisa, Stephen Savage and his wife Fatima, and Catherine Soehnel and her husband Scott. Beth was the loving grandmother of Lilyann, Gemma, Elizabeth, Luke, Ryan, Anastasia, and Lindsay. Beth is also survived by her brother Nicholas Micucci and preceded in death by their sister, Jane Rainis. The family will receive friends on May 29th from 4pm-8pm, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, for visitation. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Maywood on May 30th at 10am, immediately followed by burial at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
