Obituary of Laurie L. Cornell

Laurie L. Cornell (nee Akers), 58 of Dumont, NJ passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024. Laurie was a true advocate for Autism Awareness helping anyone she could; she adored being a mother to her loving children. Devoted mother of Adam C. Cornell, Allison J. Cornell and Erin E. Cornell. Dearest sister of Heather Akers, Laurie is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, June 6th, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack.
