Christopher John Andres was born on January 10th, 1954 to: parents Harry & Eileen Andres. Chris left us suddenly on Thursday, October 17th 2024. Chris leaves behind his two sons, Benjamin and Adam and his four grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey Stiefel and Cheryl Perrone: four brothers, Jeffrey, Michael, Gary and Mark and nine nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his long time partner, Constance Eustache, and her children and grandchildren. Chris graduated from Vailsburg High School, Newark, NJ in 1972, went on to serve in the US Navy and then was employed as a bus driver by NJ Transit for several years. Chris was known among his many friends as "Wheat" a nickname he acquired do to his love for the cereal "Wheaties". Those of you who knew Chris are laughing right now!. Chris was a diehard Yankee Fan, his hero, of course ... Mickey Mantle! Rest in peace, dear Chris, we will love you and miss you always. PLAY BALL!. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, October 27, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM for visitation at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, with a prayer service beginning at 3:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
