I felt something was off when I didn't hear from Warren for my birthday in November or get a Christmas card. Since meeting in Jamestown, ND, in the summer of 1969, we ran the gamete from being friends to being more than friends and back to being friends again. We didn't see each other often because I moved to Norway, but every time we did get together, it was as if no time at all had passed, even though the hiatus may have lasted for decades. How I will miss this wonderful man! The universe just isn't the same without him. This photo of us is from Warren's college graduation in 1970. Rest in peace, Warren, my dear. You taught me to eat with chopsticks, how to appreciate a museum or an art galllery, and all about Gregorian chants. You introduced this North Dakota girl to culture and travel, and for that, and so mich more, I will be forever grateful.
