Obituary of Karen Anderson

Karen Pace Anderson, 78, of Hackensack, New Jersey, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey, passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, January 20. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25th, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, at 10:00 AM. Karen was born in Paterson, New Jersey, to Raymond and Josephine Pace. She graduated from St. Cecilia High School in Englewood. She worked in various roles at Tiffany & Co. for many years, and later as a paraprofessional for Paramus Public Schools. A lifelong learner, she was an avid reader, cat lover, home gardener, and crossword-puzzle enthusiast. She served on the board of her condo association for several years. Karen is survived by her daughter, Julia Anderson, of Maywood, New Jersey; son, Dennis Anderson, of Boston, Massachusetts; sister, Gail Zybulewski, of Maywood, New Jersey; several nephews and nieces; and her beloved cat, Mark. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Josephine Pace, and brother, Raymond "Butch" Pace.
