Joseph E. Trupio, of Hackensack, died on Saturday, February 4, 2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 88 years. Prior to retiring, he was a Merchant Marine for the United States Coast Guard. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. Predeceased by his brother Frank Trupio who died in October of 2005, he is survived by his sister, Josephine Gulino and her husband Joseph, a niece, Tara Gulino, and four nephews, Alex Gulino, Alan Trupio, Michael Trupio and Edward Gulino. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, on Tuesday, February 7th, at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. Visiting will be on Monday evening from 7 - 9 PM.
