Obituary of Helen M. Valla

HELEN M. VALLA, of Wyckoff, formerly of Hackensack, died on Thursday, September 30, 2010, at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff, at the age of 93 years. Prior to retiring, she was a seamstress for Goldberg Slipper Factory of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Immaculate Conception of Hackensack and a member of the Polish Youth Club and the Columbiettes of Trinity Council both of Hackensack. Devoted daughter of the late Frank and Pauline Lago Valla. Dearest sister of the late Pauline A. Valla and John E. Valla. Loving sister in law of Evelyn Valla of Upper Saddle River. Beloved aunt of Nadine Valla of Lodi, Kevin Valla of Upper Saddle River, John E. Valla Jr. of Park Ridge and Thomas F. Valla of Montvale. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 4th, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM with burial following at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack.
