Obituary of Donato Vitale

DONATO VITALE, of Hackensack , died on Friday March 6, 2009 at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 74 years. Born in Ferrari , Italy , he came to this country in 1970. Prior to retiring in 1997, he worked for R.A. Hamilton Construction company in Hackensack and Barsan Construction company in Saddle Brook. He was a member of Local # 472 Labors Union, Newark and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack . Beloved husband for 54 years to Maria (nee DeCristofaro). Loving father of Gabriella Arrigo of Vernon , Tina Spincola of Hamburg , Silvana Macchione and her husband Joseph of Washington Twp., Biagio Vitale and his wife Barbara of Toms River and the late Franca Vitale. Cherished grandfather of Joseph Jr., Stephanie, Christopher and Marc. Dearest brother of Lucia Della Rocca, Michele Vitale and the late Donatella Puopolo. Donato is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 11th, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church , 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack , at 10:00 AM. with entombment following at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Washington Township. Visiting will be on Tuesday evening from 6 - 9 PM.
