Obituary of Don Rivera

DON RIVERA, of Bayonne, died on Monday, December 14, 2009, at Care One at Wellington Hall in Hackensack, at the age of 59 years. Born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, he came to the United States in 1956 settling in Bronx, New York where he lived until coming to Bayonne a year ago. He worked as a steam fitter for Con Edison of New York. Beloved father of Eileen Rivera of West New York and Dan Rivera and his wife Tammy of Bayonne. Loving grandfather of Jason Baex, Michael Baez, and Daniel Alexander Rivera. Dearest brother of Aida Bavarro, Toni Dela Rosa, Ralph Rivera, Alfonso Rivera, Elena Rivera, Rosa Dean and Concetta Rivera Nueves. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 17th, at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
