Obituary of Doris T. Welch

DORIS TURK WELCH , of Hackensack, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012. at her home, at the age of 67 years. Prior to retiring Doris worked as a Legal Secretary for Katherine Houghton Law Offices in Paramus. She was also a former Board Member for the Hackensack Board of Education, the Hackensack Planning Board and she was a member of the Bergen County Leaders. Beloved wife of Twenty Nine years to Charles H. Welch. Loving mother of Angela M. Turk of Dadville, Alabama and Ardise E. Shedsted and her husband Kenneth of Atlanta, Georgia. Cherished grandmother of Christopher and Courtney Shedsted. Dearest sister Harvey Heard, Evelyn White, Bernice Hines, Alice Fay Cox and the late James Heard, William R. Heard and Henry L. Turk, Doris is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM, at the funeral home with a prayer service starting at 8:00 PM. Cremation will be private
