LOUIS T. ROBATTINO , of Oakland, formerly of Hackensack,,passed away peacefully on Monday, September 16, 2013, at the age of 83 years. Prior to retiring he owned Andy and Lou's Esso Station in Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack where he served in the Usher's Society. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Beloved husband of the late Irene (nee Beasty).Devoted father of Marie-Louise Forkin and her husband Ronald of Hightstown, Luanne Arenz and her husband Martin of Wyckoff and Peter Louis Robattino and his wife Brenda of Oakland. Cherished grandfather of Thomas Forkin, James Forkin, Lauren Arenz and Nicholas Robattino. Dearest brother of the late Margaret Schnaars.The funeral on Saturday, September 21st at 8:45 AM from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, with burial following at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee. The family will receive friends on Friday from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 PM.
