Obituary of Frances Calabrese

FRANCES CALABRESE, of South Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the age of 83. Prior to retiring she worked as a Book Keeper for Stoeger Industries in South Hackensack for 20 years. Frances was a two term past president of the South Hackensack Senior Citizens Club, a volunteer at Hackensack University Medical Center for 10 years, a longtime Volunteer Knitter for Care to Knit for the homeless, she was a prolific Folk Artist, and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late John D. Calabrese (2000). Loving mother of Patricia Calabrese and her husband Richard Germano, Chris Calabrese and his wife Karin and the late John M. Calabrese (2006). Cherished grandmother of Katie, Allysa, Kyle, Rebecca and Olivia. Frances also leaves behind many beloved family members and close friends. The Funeral on Wednesday June 29, 2011 at 8:45 AM at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 49 Vreeland Avenue, Hackensack. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
