Obituary of Carlos A. Calero

Carlos A. Calero, of Hackensack, died on Monday, June 18, 2007, at Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 85 years. He was born in Portoviejo, Ecuador and came to this country in 1968 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring, he worked as an assembly worker for I. D. C. Electronics Company of Englewood. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mercedes L. Alarcon Calero, his children, Maria Isabel Faieta of Ecuador, Carlos Alberto Calero Jr. of Vienna, Delaware, Jose Calero of Hackensack, Aurelio Calero of San Antonio, Texas, and Maria P. Burns, of Sparta, a brother, Carlos Calero of Panama, 13 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, June 21st at 12:30 PM, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack. Cremation will be private. Visiting will be on Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 PM and Thursday morning from 11:00 AM - 12:15PM.
