Obituary of James Vincent Cancelosi

JAMES VINCENT CANCELOSI, JR., of Little Ferry, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2014, at the age of 84 years. Prior to retiring in 2000, he worked as a Vice-President for Ridgewood Corporation in Hackensack for 46 years, He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, a member of the Haworth Country Club, member of the North Jersey Credit and Trade Association of Bergen County and he was an avid New York Giants and Yankees fan. He was a parishioner of Saint Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church, Little Ferry. Beloved husband of 60 years to Olympia “Lee” (nee Clemente). Loving father of James Cancelosi and his wife Kimberley of Colorado, Cathy Cancelosi of Little Ferry and John Cancelosi of Brick, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Keegan and Lukas. He is pre-deceased by two brothers and one sister, and is also survived by a brother-in-law Rick Clemente and a special niece Caroline Soffer and numerous other loving and caring nieces, nephews, cousins and neighbors. The funeral will be held on Thursday November 20, 2014 at 8:45 AM from the funeral home. The Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Margaret of Cortona R.C. Church, 31 Chamberlain Avenue, Little Ferry at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
