Obituary of Edith F. Capozzi

EDITH F. PESCATORE CAPOZZI of Hackensack , died on Sunday, April 13, 2008, at her home, at the age of 84. Prior to retiring she was employed as a sales associate for Victors Jewelers for over 10 years and the Plaid Stamps Redemption Center both of Hackensack . She was a former member of the Hackensack Junior Women’s Club, Fairmount School P.T.A. and Hackensack Moose Lodge, and a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack . Beloved wife for 65 years of Charles J. Capozzi. Devoted and loving mother to Charles M. Capozzi and his wife Carmen of Hackensack and Debra Capozzi and her husband Peter Romano. Cherished Grandmother of Charles and Michael. Dearest sister of the late Mary Cangialosi, Clara Yannetti, Josephine Gentile, Fay Maglio, Carmine Pescatore and George Pescatore. Dearest sister-in-law of Irene Peragine of McAfee, NJ, Vincent Capozzi of Indiana and Rocco Capozzi of Florida. Godmother to Lois Conklin, Vincent Maglio, Jr., and Richard Capozzi. Edith is also survived by several nieces and nephews.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 18th, at 11:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R.C. Church , 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery , Hackensack . Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
