Obituary of Silvio Ciummo

SILVIO CIUMMO , of Hackensack, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at, Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 85 years. Born in Acquaviva d' Isernia, Italy he came to this country in 1971 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring, he was a mechanic at Community Chevrolet in Ridgefield Park. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church. Beloved husband for 52 years of Enrichetta (nee Ciummo). Devoted father of Antoinetta Tartaglione and her husband Elio of Dumont, Rosaria Wersebe and her husband Scott of Warwick, NY and Vincenzo Ciummo of Cliffside Park. Cherished grandfather of Angelica, Marcello, Diana, Gabriel, and Adriana. Dearest brother of Giuseppe Ciummo and his wife Cristina of Rome, Francesco Ciummo and his wife Orietta of Warwick, NY, Erinus Ciummo and his wife Cornelia of Hackensack, and Ulrico Ciummo of Belgium. The funeral on Friday, October 19th, at 8:45 AM, from the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
