Obituary of Brian C. Colgan

BRIAN C. COLGAN SR., of Ridgefield Park, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Hackensack Hospital Hospice at the age of 66 years. Prior to retiring, he was a corrections officer for the Hudson County Department of Corrections. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Trinity Council # 747 of Hackensack, the Bishop O'Connor General Assembly Fourth Degree of Hackensack. a member of PBA Local # 109 of South Kearny and the NJ State Police Emerald Society of Jersey City. He is survived by his wife Barbara C. Donahue Colgan, his son Brian C. Cogan Jr. of Ridgefield Park, a daughter, Elizabeth A. Colgan of East Rutherford and two sisters, Margaret Colgan and Claire Tilley. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, June 21st at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue Hackensack, at 10:00 AM with burial following at Maple Grove Park Cemetery in Hackensack.
