Joan D. Simonetti Corallo,of Rochelle Park, died on Monday March 6, 2006, at her home, at the age of 72 years. She was born in Jersey City. She was a merchandiser for Lord and Taylor of Paramus for ten years and prior to that she also was a merchandiser for Macy's of Paramus. Predeceased by her husband Salvatore Corallo who died in 1980, she is survived by her son, Steven A. Corallo of Rochelle Park, her daughter, Caryn Briordy and her husband Andrew of River Edge, two grandchildren, Noel and Caitlin Briordy both of River Edge, two sisters, Dorothy Furfaro and her husband Ralph of Jupiter, Florida, Elaine Pizzo and her husband Michael of Ridgewood, a brother, Paul Simonetti and his wife Elaine of Ridgewood, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, March 9, 2006, at the Church of the Madonna, Fort Lee, at 11:00 AM with burial following in Madonna Cemetery. Visiting will be private.
