Obituary of Anthony L. D'Arminio
Anthony L. D'Arminio, a lifelong resident of Hackensack, died on Monday, March 27, 2006, at the Hackensack University Medical Center, at the age of 77 years. Anthony was loved and respected by all and was an inspiration to all who met him. Prior to retiring in 1992, Anthony was a partner in D'Arminio and Sons Company of Hackensack, where he worked for 50 years. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Marines and was a past commander and member of American Legion Post # 55 of Hackensack. A lifelong parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack, Anthony was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Socialites. He also was a member of the Hackensack Troast Athletic Club. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Faye Sutera D'Arminio, his daughter, Joanne Leichtweisz and her husband George, three sons, Anthony D'Arminio and his wife Rose, Ronald D'Arminio and his wife Erika, and Donald D'Arminio, six grandchildren, Kimberly, Jessica, Ryan, Alex, William and Eric, a sister, Angela Donaldson, three brothers, Angelo D'Arminio, Lee D'Arminio and Michael D'Arminio and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Carmen D'Arminio. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, March 30, 2006, at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, at 11:00 AM with entombment following at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be on Tuesday evening from 7 - 9 PM and Wednesday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM,
