Obituary of Betty B. Aqualina

BETTY B. SAMMARCO AQUALINA of Hackensack passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2010, at the age of 94. Before retiring in 1990 ,Betty was a sales clerk for Sterns Dept. Store in Paramus for 37 years. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Hackensack. Beloved wife of the late James Aqualina. (1978). Devoted mother of Marie Consalvo and her husband Joseph of Woodcliff Lake, NJ and Grace A. Aqualina of Hackensack. Loving grandmother of Christine Klecanda and her husband Robert of Woodcliff Lake, Philip Consalvo of New York City and Elizabeth Hoogendoorn and her husband Jerry of River Vale. Cherished great grandmother of Alyssa, Robbie, J.J and Katie. Dearest sister of Rose Carnevale of Rutherford and the late Jack Sammarco. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 22nd, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack. at 11:00 AM with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hackensack. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
