Antonio Pomo Obituary

Antonio Del Pomo, of Hackensack, died on Friday, May 19, 2006, at Hackensack University Medical Center at the age of 80 years. Born in Salerno, Italy, he came to this country in 1969 settling in Hackensack. Prior to retiring, he was a machine operator for Stone Container Company of Hackensack. He was a parishioner of St. Francis R. C. Church of Hackensack. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Maria De Paola Del Pomo, four daughters, Cristina Bicaku and her husband Steve of Hackensack, Rose Offreda and her husband Pasquale of Carlstadt, Josephine Ferlise and her husband Sal of Bogota, and Laura Tramontana and her husband Joe of Paramus, his grandchildren, John and his wife Kara, Mark, Anthony, Nicole, Michael, Danielle, Sal, Joey, and Tiffany, and several brothers and sisters in Italy. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Francis R. C. Church, 50 Lodi Street, Hackensack, on Monday, May 22nd, at 10:00 AM, Reverend Anthony Guidice officiating. Entombment will follow at Hackensack Cemetery. Visiting will be on Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
