Obituary of Pauline Di Ambrosio

PAULINE PIAZZA DI AMBROSIO, of Hackensack, died on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at the Hackensack Hospital Hospice, at the age of 91 years. Prior to retiring, she had worked for Goldberg Slipper Factory and F. W. Woolworth, both of Hackensack. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R. C. Church , Hackensack Pauline loved playing cards with the girls. Beloved wife of the late Alfonse “Foe” Di Ambrosio. Loving mother of Alphonse “Chick” Di Ambrosio and his wife Phyllis of Emerson and Robert P. Di Ambrosio and his wife Ramona of River Edge. Cherished grandmother of Anthony and his wife Christine, Gina and her husband Frank, Joseph, Robert and Paul, Great grandmother of Nicholas, Angelo, Francesca, Harrison, Christopher and Devon . Beloved aunt of many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and neighbors. She is predeceased by her mother and father, three sisters and five brothers. The Funeral Blessing on Friday April 10th, at Holy Trinity R. C. Church , 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack with burial following at Hackensack Cemetery , Hackensack . Visiting will be on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 - 9 PM.
